PLANT PEEPS II: Art backed by science

This 1.5 hour webinar is a contemporary art history class about bio-art made in collaboration with live plants that celebrates botanical autonomy and questions what it's like to be a plant. The art history lecture will be followed by recommended opportunities and resources for anyone interested in learning more about plants and for artists to connect with and learn from plants in studios, labs, botanical gardens and in the field.

The talk will be presented by the Biophilium's director Alex Williams, an artist who has studied plants with the Biophilium for 12 years.
